Another project in which CISER takes part is the SAE Formula, a product development competition in which the students must design, make and compete with small formula 1-type racing cars.
Created in Texas in 1981, the competition arrived in Brazil in 2004, awarding the best teams with the right to represent the country at two international competitions held in the USA. In addition to the competitions, the final result is a great experience for young graduands in a complex engineering project, and also provides the opportunity for working in a dedicated team effort, with learning as its main motivation.
The SAE Formula increases the technical knowledge and leadership capacity of the students, and also gives them the opportunity to experience the development process of the product from start to end.
