With a serious perception of the future, in 1983 CISER began its environmental preservation project. The Company acquired areas of land known as the Upper and Lower Quiriri - a major source of water located to the north of Santa Catarina - and launched the Preservation of the River Quiriri Springs of the Atlantic Forest project.

In order to make the routine work of employees easier, in 1997, CISER created a choir made up of employees, family members and the local community. The Coral CISER Show, as is known, gives artistic presentations throughout the city of Joinville and in other Brazilian states.

Quiriri Project


CISER protects an area of 9,158.57 hectares of Atlantic rainforest. It is a vast region of native forests that are located near the main sources of the river Quiriri, which provides 17% of the water consumed in Joinville, the largest city in Santa Catarina.
